100 years ago, between 1922 and 1927, Guinness World Record’s holder Aloha Wanderwell, became the first woman to drive around the world on a journey that took her through 43 countries.
She did it all in a Ford Model T.

100 years later, Lexie Alford, another Guinness World Rectord holder (the youngest person visiting every country in the world), retraces Aloha’s footsteps in the new all-electric Explorer.

A NEW WORLD RECORD!
In March 26th 2024, and after around 200 days behind the wheel, Lexie Alford has made history as the first person to circumnavigate the world in an electric vehicle.
To validate it, RecordSetter has provided a Garmin GPS unit that communicates Lexie's position via satellite uplink. Additionally, they have conducted spot checks at various points along the route for in-person verification, ensuring the journey have met their stringent certification criteria.
